Our work in Glenn Heights

Junk Genius has been hauling junk out of Twin Cities homes for about 15 years, and with 4.9 stars across 1,987 Google reviews, the track record speaks for itself. Call (612) 444-5865 and we'll get you a free estimate fast. Most jobs get scheduled within the same week, and we show up when we say we will.

Glenn Heights residents dealing with a garage full of old furniture, a basement stuffed with things that haven't moved since 2018, or a cleanout after an estate sale know this feeling: the pile isn't getting smaller on its own. Mike Reimann's crew services the greater Minneapolis metro and surrounding communities, and we bring the same efficient, no-drama approach to every job. We don't subcontract. The person who picks up the phone is connected to the crew that shows up at your door.

WHY IT MATTERS

Your Clutter Is Costing You More Than You Think

That old treadmill in the corner isn't just taking up space. It's taking up mental bandwidth too.

Stacks of unopened boxes. A fridge that hasn't worked in three years sitting in the garage. Mattresses propped against the wall. Every one of those things registers in your brain every time you walk past it, and that low-grade stress adds up. A disorganized Glenn Heights home leads to a disorganized daily life. It's not a theory. People lose things, buy duplicates, and avoid entire rooms because cleaning up feels like an impossible task. It isn't. One call to Junk Genius and a crew shows up, loads it all up, and you're done. That room is yours again.

WHAT WE HAUL

From a Single Couch to a Full Garage Cleanout

If it fits in our truck, it's gone. And we haul a lot.

Furniture Removal

Sofas, recliners, dining sets, bed frames. We carry it out so you don't have to. Glenn Heights apartments and houses with tight hallways are no problem for a crew that's been doing this for about 15 years.

Appliance Removal & Disposal

Old fridges, washers, dryers, stoves. We handle the disconnect and haul. We donate and recycle as much as we can whenever possible.

House & Garage Cleanouts

Full-property cleanouts for moves, estate sales, or inherited homes sitting full of decades of accumulated stuff. We work fast and we clean up after ourselves.

Electronics Recycling

Old monitors, printers, computers. E-waste can't go in the trash, and it shouldn't. We recycle it responsibly, with certified crews trained in electronics recycling and waste management safety.

Mattress Removal

One mattress or six. Whether it's a guest room cleanout or an inherited property full of old beds, we load and haul every mattress and box spring off your hands.

Yard Debris and Shed Removal

Brush piles, old sheds, storm debris. If your backyard has turned into a junk yard, we can handle both the structural teardown and the haul. Check out our shed removal service for details.

What Customers Say After the Truck Pulls Away

Brent Neveau

Sosa and Diego were absolutely amazing. They cleaned out the whole garage in just over an hour. Very professional. Will use them again when needed. A+.

Diane Hansmeier

I had a few places come do estimates, and Junk Genius was definitely the most reasonable. They were also able to switch our day/time when we had something coming up. Big shout out to Lester and Isaiah! They were friendly, respectful of the space, and incredibly efficient!

Riley Jay

Sosa and Diego did an incredible job on my garage. I had bought a house and the seller had left all sorts of junk in the garage including an old fridge and many mattresses. They were able to work with me to get it done fast and affordably. I will definitely be keeping them in mind for future work.

GOOD TO KNOW

One Thing We Won't Do

We won't haul hazardous materials, paint cans, or certain regulated chemicals. Any company that tells you they'll take everything without exception is either cutting corners on disposal or doesn't know what they're talking about. We'll tell you upfront what we can and can't take, and if something falls outside our scope, we'll point you toward the right resource. No surprises. If you're not sure whether we can take something from your Glenn Heights home, call and ask. That's what the free estimate is for. We've also written up the real case for professional junk removal versus DIY if you're still on the fence about whether it's worth it. Spoiler: for most jobs, the math isn't close.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can Junk Genius schedule a pickup in Glenn Heights?

Most Glenn Heights jobs get scheduled within the same week, and in many cases we can move faster depending on crew availability. We're open seven days a week from 7 AM to 8 PM, including weekends, so there's no waiting until Monday if you need something gone sooner. Call (612) 444-5865 and we'll give you a realistic timeline on the first call.

What items does Junk Genius pick up from Glenn Heights homes?

We haul furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard debris, construction debris, and full garage or house loads. The one honest caveat: we don't take hazardous materials, paint, or certain regulated chemicals. If you're not sure whether a specific item qualifies, call before your appointment and we'll tell you straight. We'd rather sort it out on the phone than show up and leave something behind.

What does junk removal in Glenn Heights typically cost?

Pricing depends on volume, what's being hauled, and how much loading labor is involved. A single-item pickup runs significantly less than a full garage cleanout, which can vary widely based on how packed the space is. We don't publish price ranges because a figure on a page rarely matches the actual job. Every job is different. Contact Junk Genius for an accurate estimate. The estimate is free and there's no obligation.

Does Junk Genius donate or recycle items picked up in Glenn Heights?

Yes. We donate and recycle as much as we can whenever possible. Our crews are certified in recycling management and waste management safety, so this isn't just a marketing claim. Furniture in decent condition, working appliances, electronics, and other salvageable items all get sorted before disposal. It matters to us what happens to it after we leave.

Do I need to be home during the Glenn Heights junk removal appointment?

Not necessarily. Many customers leave items in the garage or at the curb and give the crew access without being present. We'll confirm the plan with you ahead of time so there's no confusion. If you've got a full interior cleanout, having someone on-site for the first few minutes helps, but once the crew knows what to take, they work independently. We keep you updated throughout so you're never in the dark.

How is Junk Genius different from national junk removal franchises serving the Glenn Heights area?

Mike Reimann founded Junk Genius about 15 years ago and his name is on every job. When you call, you're not reaching a national call center that dispatches a subcontractor. The crews are trained in-house, hold certifications in MSW hauling and waste management safety, and operate under MN License #3772090-2. The 4.9-star average across 1,987 Google reviews reflects consistent work about 15 years, not a promotional push. That's a harder record to fake than a franchise badge.
