Our work in Addison

If you've been searching for junk removal in Addison and not finding a crew you can actually trust, here's the short answer: Junk Genius has been hauling for Twin Cities communities for about 15 years, and Mike Reimann puts his name on every job. Call (612) 444-5865 today and we can often get out to you the same week.

Addison sits close enough to our Minneapolis base that scheduling is straightforward and response time is quick. We've handled everything from single-piece furniture pickups to full garage cleanouts for households all across this part of the metro. Our crew holds MSW Hauling and Waste Management Safety certifications, and we carry MN License #3772090-2 so you're not guessing at credentials. The 4.9-star average across 1,987 Google reviews isn't something we invented either. It's what happens when the same owner-operated team shows up, does the work, and leaves the space cleaner than they found it.

WHY IT PILES UP

Addison Homes Collect Junk Faster Than You Think

Not a lot of people plan to end up with a garage full of stuff they can't use. It happens a box at a time, a piece of furniture at a time, a broken appliance nobody got around to calling about. Tripping over an old treadmill on the way to your car isn't a character flaw. It's just what accumulates when life moves fast and hauling things away feels like a project. In Addison, we hear this constantly. The good news is that one phone call to Junk Genius ends the whole chapter. We show up, we load it, and you don't think about it again. That's the whole transaction.

WHAT WE HAUL

Services Available to Addison Customers

One crew, one call: no need to shop around for different haulers.

Furniture Removal

Couches, mattresses, recliners, bed frames, dressers. We handle the carry-out so you don't have to figure out how to get a sofa through a narrow hallway. Check out our furniture removal page for specifics.

Appliance Removal

Old fridges, washers, dryers, ovens, heavy stuff that you genuinely cannot move alone. We lift it, load it, and route it to the appropriate recycling facility. See our appliance removal page for what's included.

House and Garage Cleanouts

Estate sales, moves, inherited properties, a garage that got out of hand over five winters. These are the jobs we do best. Bring us the whole mess and we'll work through it systematically.

Hoarding Cleanup

Sensitive situations deserve a discreet, non-judgmental crew. We've done this long enough to know how to move through a difficult cleanout with care. Our hoarding cleanup page explains the process.

Electronics and Computer Recycling

Old monitors, printers, towers, televisions, e-waste that you can't just set at the curb. We route electronics to certified recyclers so nothing ends up in a landfill it shouldn't.

Dumpster Rental

Doing a renovation yourself and need a container on-site for a few days? Our dumpster rental option is a separate product from our full-service haul, right tool for the right job.

THE JUNK GENIUS DIFFERENCE

What Makes This Crew Worth Calling in Addison

Sixteen years in the Twin Cities. One owner whose name is on the truck.

Mike Reimann started Junk Genius about 15 years ago because he saw how many people were stuck with junk they couldn't handle alone and no reliable local option to call. The franchise companies operating in this market route your call to a national center. We don't. When you call (612) 444-5865, you're reaching a Minnesota-owned operation that's been doing this work in this region since before most of those franchises had a truck here. We won't promise we take absolutely everything, hazardous materials and certain chemicals are outside our scope, but for the overwhelming majority of household and commercial junk, one call covers it.

1,987Google reviews at 4.9 stars: The review count alone separates us from most local competitors
MN License #3772090-2: Verifiable, not just claimed
Donation & recycling: We track where your stuff goes
Open 7 days, 7am to 8pm: Including weekends when you finally have time to deal with it

REAL CUSTOMERS

What People Say After the Truck Leaves

Brent Neveau

Sosa and Diego were absolutely amazing. They cleaned out the whole garage in just over an hour. Very professional. Will use them again when needed. A+.

Diane Hansmeier

I had a few places come do estimates, and Junk Genius was definitely the most reasonable. They were also able to switch our day/time when we had something coming up. Big shout out to Lester and Isaiah! They were friendly, respectful of the space, and incredibly efficient!

Riley Jay

Sosa and Diego did an incredible job on my garage. I had bought a house and the seller had left all sorts of junk in the garage including an old fridge and many mattresses. They were able to work with me to get it done fast and affordably. I will definitely be keeping them in mind for future work

Lisa Laughlin

Lester and Neil were quick and efficient. Super friendly. Great company! Easy scheduling and great communication. Can't beat the value

RESPONSIBLE DISPOSAL

Your Junk Doesn't All Go to a Landfill

This matters more than most haulers let on. We donate and recycle as much as we can whenever possible. Old furniture that's still usable goes to people who need it. Appliances and electronics get routed to certified recycling facilities. That's not a marketing line. It's how Mike built the business and how the crew operates on every single job. If you've been putting off a donation pickup or a full property cleanout because you didn't want everything to just disappear into a landfill, that concern is valid and we share it. Read more about what goes where on our waste management page.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Addison Junk Removal: Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can Junk Genius schedule a pickup in Addison?

Same-week scheduling is available for most Addison jobs, and same-day pickup is possible depending on crew availability when you call. The fastest way to find out is to call (612) 444-5865 directly. We can usually give you a window on the first call. Online booking through our instant quote form works too if you'd rather not call.

What kinds of items does Junk Genius pick up in Addison?

Most household and commercial junk is fair game: furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, construction debris, hot tubs, yard waste, garage clutter, and more. Hazardous materials like paint and certain chemicals are outside what we haul. If you're not sure whether your item qualifies, call and ask. We'd rather answer the question than have you guess wrong.

How does pricing work for junk removal in Addison?

We price by volume and the nature of the job, not by a flat rate that may not fit your situation. After a quick walkthrough of what you've got, we give you a firm quote before any work starts. No surprises after the truck is loaded. Every job is different, contact Junk Genius for an accurate estimate specific to your Addison property.

Can Junk Genius handle a full garage cleanout in Addison, not just a single item?

Full garage cleanouts are one of our most common jobs and honestly one of the things the crew does best. We've cleared garages with decades of accumulation, old appliances, stacked furniture, boxes nobody opened since the last move, broken tools, the works. Addison properties don't intimidate us. Call and describe what you've got and we'll give you a realistic picture of time and cost.

Does Junk Genius serve Addison on weekends?

Yes. We're available seven days a week, 7am to 8pm, including Saturdays and Sundays. If the only time you can be home to supervise a cleanout is a Saturday morning, that works. Weekend availability is particularly useful for Addison customers coordinating around work schedules or a move-out deadline.

What happens to the items Junk Genius hauls away from Addison properties?

We donate and recycle as much as we can whenever possible. Furniture in usable condition, electronics, and appliances are sorted and routed appropriately. If responsible disposal matters to you, that's not an accident. It's how Mike Reimann built the business from the start.
